研究方向:非常规油气和常规油气地质综合评价、无机-有机地球化学结合与古环境、古气候重建。
先后主持或参与国家自然科学重点基金、行业专项、油气专项和中石油创新项目三十多项,出版合著二部,在国内外核心学术刊物上发表论文50余篇。目前承担科研课题的主要研究内容:深层-超深层油气的来源与演化,优质烃源岩形成与古环境、古气候、古生产力的重建,层序地球化学,油气运移方向和充注示踪、油气成藏期次与时间,天然气和页岩油气地球化学等领域。
